Seguin Brewing Company Farmers Market

Start your Saturday morning at Seguin Brewing! On the second Saturday of the month, Seguin Brewing Company hosts their Farmers and Artisans Market from 11:00am to 4:00pm featuring food trucks, farmers, craft vendors and more.

The street in front of the brewery, 100 West Gonzales, will be closed off as local vendors set up their handmade arts and crafts, fresh produce and other homemade food products. Plus, you get to enjoy the taste of local brewed beer from the taproom.

Brian Wallace, Seguin Brewing Owner explains the idea behind bringing a market day to downtown Seguin and the brewery, “We were really just trying to create a fun market in the downtown that would help draw more people into downtown Seguin on the weekends. We thought our street provided a great opportunity for this idea. The project was actually championed by Terri Nelligan-Davis, who did a great job getting it up and running. She took charge of the market and worked to try to get vendors here to show case their crafts and give the residents of Seguin something else to do on a weekend.”

SBC Farmers and Artisans Market is a great time to experience the products that are made by the vendors themselves. The vendors for the month of September are Noni’s Natural Soaps, K and J Food Truck, EZ-E Farms, Mise Co, and Taesty Treats.

Brian encourages everyone to come out, stating “It really has the potential to be a great event. We have fresh food being cooked right out in front of the brewery by Mise Company, who has just great talent for artisan foods, and K and J Roasted Corn food truck makes a nice variety of foods including their delicious brisket tacos. We have even added live music to the day to make it a bit more entertaining. It is a simple fun relaxing family friendly afternoon. We just need to get more vendors in here to add to the experience. This is truly a more the merrier type of event.”
