Seguin Brewing Company will be bringing Oktoberfest to Seguin on September 27th and 28th! Oktoberfest is a tradition started in Munich, Germany thanks to the Royal Wedding of Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on October 12, 1810. This wedding was held as a festival celebration with beer, entertainment and horse races. The locals decided to host the horse races the following year as well and that began the long tradition of Oktoberfest. From then to now this festival celebration has added more attractions and a bigger following. Oktoberfest in Munich is the largest festival in the world, celebrating their 186th Oktoberfest this year. While Germany goes onto their 186th Celebration Seguin is ready to celebrate big with their 3rd annual Oktoberfest!

All the staff at Seguin Brewing company are happy to invite everyone to this family friendly event, “Join us for our third annual Oktoberfest. We will close down the West block of 100 Gonzales St for a fun filled street and beer hall festival. There will be brats, pretzels, games, stein holding contests and live German Oompah music.”

In celebration of this German originated holiday the brewery will be hosting Masskrugstemmens, or beer stein holding. Come test your endurance and win ultimate bragging right until next Oktoberfest!

Now what is an Oktoberfest without and Oktober-Brew? Along with their traditional Oktoberfest beer the brewery will be ready with any style drink you desire. #DrinkLocal #DrinkCraft #DrinkSeguin
