Downtown’s Third Thursday promotion where businesses stay open late the third Thursday each month is continuing into 2020. This will be the third year for the event and each month more people are coming out to have fun in downtown Seguin.
February’s Third Thursday is all about love – showing love to the small merchants that call downtown Seguin home. This month’s theme is “Love Your Local” and is just a reminder that shopping local is not only something to do during the holidays but all year long.
And to show their appreciation for shopping local, several downtown merchants are offering specials and hosting events.
At Southern Good you will get 20% of your purchase when you shop in the store on Thursday. Meanwhile at You’re So Crafty, they are offering 60% off scrapbooking supplies and wine to drink as you shop and create in the store.
Inside the Aumont, 1916 Bar & Bistro will be hosting a variety of pop up shops including chair massages, jewelry, cupcakes and handmade crafts. While shopping the pop ups – take part in a spirit or two prepared by the bartenders at the Bistro.
The Shop and Design Associates is celebrating in a big way on Febraury’s Third Thursday as they launch their brand new web site to the public. Come into the shop to view their new site, do some shopping and enjoy beverages to include Tito’s and craft beers. Down at Keepers Interiors & Furniture they are showing the love with their 20 for $20. Throughout the store find 20 items marked down to $20.00. Its like a treasure hunt in the store.
Barking Lot Treats will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary on Thursday and to show their appreciation for their four legged customers, they are offering free cupcakes for pooches with purchase. There will also be food trucks at Barking Lot Treats for you to enjoy as well.
After doing some shopping test your knowledge with live trivia at Seguin Brewing starting at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy their craft beers and delicious pizzas while playing.
The fun will continue on Friday with Food Truck Friday. A variety of food trucks will be in downtown on Friday from 11:00 to 2:00 in the County’s parking lot at 202 South Camp Street.
