Downtown Seguin’s Cocoa Sip ‘N Stroll is near! On December 6th from 5:30-8:30 pm downtown Seguin will be turned into a winter wonderland. From pictures with Santa to wagon rides, and holiday treats to late night shopping; downtown Seguin will be kicking off the holiday season.
Sip ‘N Stroll is a favorite Seguin community event and grows each year due to the varieties of delicious homemade hot cocoas. This year will feature 39 different hot cocoas from downtown merchants, local nonprofits and other businesses. The 39 “Chocolatiers” will be set up throughout downtown from inside stores, on the sidewalks and within Central Park. No matter where you go downtown you are guaranteed to get a taste of the chocolatey goodness in your 2019 Sip ‘n Stroll mug. Guests are encouraged to buy the official 2019 Sip ‘n Stroll mug featuring the historic firehouse or bring an old Sip ‘n Stroll mug as their ticket to taste the homemade cocoas. No matter the mug there will be plenty of cocoa from local stores to enjoy while you enjoy the holiday air and spirit all around.
“I am beyond excited for our 9th annual Sip ‘N Stroll celebration this year”, says Kyle Kramm, Director of Seguin Main Street & CVB, “I myself will be sporting my Official 2019 Sip ‘N Stroll mug and I am excited to try everyone’s hot chocolates with my family. This tradition has turned into a holiday favorite in our community and we are hoping for another great turn out! Please come out and be a part of this growing community holiday tradition.”
Hot cocoa won’t be the only thing at Sip ‘N Stroll either. There will be a performance from the Star Steppers and Wee Steppers, a variety of food vendors, late night shopping, pictures with Santa, snow machines and much more! So if this is not one of your holiday traditions already come out and help us celebrate the holidays.
Sip ‘N Stroll will not be the only holiday fun going on.
On Thursday, December 5th the parks and recreations department will host their annual holiday parade with floats and decorated Christmas trees starting at 6:30 pm.
Then Saturday, December 7th bring the family to Central Park for the North Poll Stroll beginning at 10am. The North Pole Stroll will host various children’s events and reindeer games to make sure the children of Seguin get their letters to Santa on time.

Also Saturday will be the Holiday Heritage Tour of Homes from 1pm-5pm. Pre-sale tickets are sold at Keepers Interior, the Seguin Chamber of Commerce, Gift and Gourmet, and online at thetexas.org for $15 per person.
