The Seguin Main Street Program, Seguin Economic Development Corporation, Seguin Chamber of Commerce and the Seguin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are gearing up together to promote and remind you to shop local, shop Seguin.
As we all prepare to enter the holiday season, we want to spread the #ShopSmall love in our community! To kick off the celebration, a photo op between the area organizations will be taken in Central Park at 4:30 p.m. to launch November’s Third Thursday. After the photo, you can shop late on Thursday at downtown businesses without the stress of a rush. Businesses will remain open until 8 p.m. for your convenience, offering holiday themed sales and discounts.
Keep in mind all the great ways to shop small and shop Seguin, especially on Small Business Saturday. On Nov. 24th from 9-10a.m., stop by Court Street Coffee Shop to “Get the Buzz on Shopping Local, Shop Seguin”. You will be provided with a Shop Local reusable bag that includes coupons, promotions, and goodies from local businesses. Several businesses will also be having special events and giveaways, and discounts on this day. It is your opportunity to showcase your support and appreciation to local businesses.

Shopping local at small businesses helps to support our neighbors and the community by keeping dollars within the city rather than going towards an out of town chain retailer. Buying local even has benefits beyond the convenience, when you support local business owners, you get a better level of service with personalized and one of a kind items.”
