Celebrate all things pecan and all things Seguin at Pecan Fest Heritage Days. Home of the world’s largest pecan, Seguin’s Pecan Fest has been a favorite to locals and a must see stop for thousands of visitors and the weekend long event celebrates our famous nut. The celebration is spread out all over Seguin and includes celebrations of Seguin’s heritage and history. Pecan Fest Heritage Days has a little something for everyone, for the foodie nut to the shopping nut to the history nut.
Part of the celebration includes Seguin Main Street’s Trade Days where vendors showcase and sell their merchandise during Trade Days on Saturday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applications are being accepting for vendors selling art, crafts, jewelry, food, furniture, yard decor, and of course PECANS! A bonus to getting involved is if your items are anything pecan related, the booth space will be entirely free.
“Thousands of people will be in Seguin for the weekend’s activities and they will be making their way through downtown and Central Park shopping with our over 80 vendors,” said Kyle Kramm, Main Street & CVB Director, “We are getting close to being sold out of booth spaces, so vendors need to contact us soon to reserve their spot.”
Seguin Main Street is also seeking non-profit organizations to host kid’s activities during Pecan Fest on Saturday, October 26. Organizations interested hosting will receive a free booth space. Activities can include games, crafts, and giveaways all focused on fun for children at the event.
Main Street is also looking for organizations to host their own pecan related event to be held in conjunction with Pecan Fest. For example, the Red Barn hosts their agricultural heritage days and the Seguin Education Foundation hosts their Healthy Nut 5K Run. Get creative or contact Main Street to brainstorm ideas of how your organization can get involved.
We encourage you to come out and help celebrate everything Seguin has to offer during Pecan Fest. For times and listing of day activities, visit https://seguingonuts.com/ or call the Seguin Convention and Visitors Bureau at (830) 401-5000 to get involved
