Shouts of “BINGO” will fill the downtown stores during September’s Third Thursday’s Explore Downtown Seguin Bingo game. Stop in at a participating store to pick up your bingo card after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, and go from store to store to find the code to fill in your squares on your bingo card. In addition to getting the code in stores, there will be several selfie stops that will count towards getting your bingo.
Once you complete a traditional bingo - a straight line either vertical, horizontal, diagonal, or four corners – you will turn your bingo card in at a participating business for a chance to win one of two gift baskets valued at over $250. Achieve a complete blackout on your bingo card and be entered twice to win a gift basket.
Even if bingo isn’t your game, there will still be plenty to enjoy downtown during Third Thursday including live music by Derek Krueger, food trucks, complimentary beverages at some downtown stores, and plenty of sales and discounts.
What is going to make this Third Thursday even more special will be over 65 downtown revitalization professionals joining in on the fun as they are in Seguin for a conference. Seguin Main Street hopes that there will be a large community showing out during Third Thursday to help welcome these individuals to Seguin.
“Everyone is invited to come out as the evening will be fun for the whole family,” said Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director, “It is an excellent opportunity to come out and find a store downtown that you didn’t even know was there.”
Third Thursday is a monthly event hosted by the Downtown Business Alliance of Seguin. Each month features a different theme and runs from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
