ArtsFest is Seguin’s annual celebration of the arts in our community, a day filled of arts and culture. It is an opportunity to showcase local artists and show support for future public art projects in Seguin. Artsfest is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2019, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
One of the main events during ArtsFest is the Market Day in Central Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event will feature over 30 artisan vendors selling unique handmade crafts, jewelry, art, candles, ceramics, glass, paintings, photography, wood sculptures and more.
“We are excited to have some new vendors at the market.”, said Kyle Kramm, Main Street and CVB Director. “There are going to be some great vendors selling neat items like 3 Parks Design’s leather products, Crafty Cathy’s children clothing, and Rusty Pearl’s etched glass just to name few.”
The fun doesn’t end there! While doing your shopping for these one of a kind items, the aroma of food trucks and food vendors will fill the air. Enjoy the taste of delicious eats to fill your appetite from brisket tacos, nachos, gorditas, and quesadillas. Let’s not forget about your sweet tooth and enjoy some flavored gourmet popcorn, shaved ice, funnel cakes, mangonadas, and more.
The event will feature free live entertainment from local schools, TLU Music Academy, along with a variety of tunes to enjoy while creating your own work of art with chalk on the sidewalks. Let’s not forget to visit, shop and support the businesses in beautiful downtown Seguin. There will be plenty of free parking near and around Central Park.
